Thank you for the comment Yes, I agree, her death (and life) made a great impact on Cloud, but she opened his heart to trusting in his friends. I love their dynamic so much

Hmm... maybe he'd wonder if Cid would wear one or if he has one? Y'know now that I think about it, I wonder if the rocket had spacesuits on board just in case. At least in FFVIII the outer space section was a little more fleshed out

Ahh, I loved when they finally connected in AC ;-; And that Aerith in general has such an affect on Cloud that he wants to be with her that much (and even transcends other universes, like waaaah~) QAQ

Indeed, there's even a mod for the PC version of FF VII that let's her survive that encounter (I literally cry every time it happens though, seriously... T_T ) and said mod is called "New Threat Mod" that changes a good amount of how materia works and even adds a bit of cut content from what I heard.  (I already went through it and it was challenging, yet a fun challenge at the same time. ^^ )  You can even get Yuffie IMMEDIATELY after the first story event in Kalm, so awesome.   <3   My preferred party, even back then, is Strife (What I prefer to call him, though I leave his original vanilla name "Cloud" as is of course. ), Yuffie and last but NEVER least is dear Aeris. <3   And yeah, you're right. :3

Oh, what a coincidence, I'm playing through New Threat right now! I'm not that far yet, just before the Mythril Mine, and I died 2 times in the Kalm flashback (once against the dragon and the second vs trash ;-; ), lmao, but I love most if not all the changes so far with it I'm actually using Barret more instead of my usual party of Cloud/Aerith/Red XIII and it's nice that, combat-wise, all the characters are unique now. I'm interested in how Aerith staying in the party affects the latter half of the story !

Yeah I was surprised you get Yuffie so early! But I enjoyed how they introduced her and laughed at her popping out of the cabinet, lol.

And don't worry, I cry during that part all the time too ;-; I'll most likely cry harder seeing it in HD (and voice acting, oh gosh D': )...

I still don't get why they changed her name though, since there's absolutely nothing wrong with "Aeris", honestly, and as such I NEVER use that other name, period.  No offense to you of course.  

And really now?  That's QUITE the coincidence, I wish you luck with the upcoming boss fights then, I especially love how they redid certain boss fights like the one you face before realizing just what the Black Materia is, won't spoil it though of course, just know to bring anti-petrification items equipped on your preferred party members.  Trust me, it'll make that fight a WHOLE lot easier, especially with the neat little catch they added to it. heh heh ^^

Haha, no offense taken I actually agree with you; over time I slowly adopted the 'th' due to repeatedly seeing it that way in subsequent games, but I'm with the faction that wishes they'd kept it Aeris too, ahaha :>

Ahh, I'm quite curious now! And I'll definitely keep that in mind, thanks~ I have to admit, I was concerned New Threat would lower Aerith's significance to the story or pander to certain characters but you give me high hopes for it ^^

I'm so glad, seriously, I was afraid that you were one of the most people that just didn't care and just went with "Aerith" instead of her real, original name "Aeris" is all.  Again, i'm so relieved. ^^

Yeah, equip Jem Rings (you might find out where to find them in the little "where is the thing" notepad item found in the NTM zip file as it shows how to find various items and such, especially items needed for synthesizing Ultimate Weapons (Yes, unfortunately every character's Ultimate Weapons such as Strife's Ultima Weapon and Yuffie's Conformer and such, need to be Synthesized. And obviously it's apparently reserved for the Disc 4 part of the story. ) and it should show where to get it.  And yup, she gets a small little detour to get her final Limit Break that, while a bit odd, let's you go through a good challenge to acquire it.  Same thing goes for Strife's Omnislash where you have to prepare to face a familiar old friend of his to get it. ^^
