Jinx knew she shouldn't be exploring an unsecured time portal on her own. But she just wanted to take a little peek, investigate a bit. Show off, really. When she stepped through, she found herself in the 1960s, at the back of a supermarket. She cast a spell to help her blend in, but unfortunately she was a little too close to the portal when she cast it. The portal interfered with her spell, upgrading it from "disguise" to "assimilate", transforming Jinx from a free willed spunky teen to a simpering, dainty housewife. Jinx then set about picking up groceries, completely unaware of the flickering portal behind her, getting things together for a husband who was several decades in the future.
