it was a pic for Mango and Pai's art contest in Gaia, their character Kat. it only turned out to be coloring practice though, done in 4 hours. mostly colored in OC3, touched up in photoshop. I just REALLY wanted to color something, i havent CGed in such a long time.... so sick of lineart x_X;; man this is bright and shiny... havent done this in a while either.i hate this picture, will probably be one of the first deleted when i clear out my gallery again. coloring practice!!

Hooray! Stuff from panchan!!! Firstly, let me tell you how much I admire the light, pastel-ish way you color things. That's really what I look foreward to most when one of your peices pops up in my message box.
I really like that aspect of this piece, firstly, but other things that catch my eye is the Vivid... ness of the colors at the same time. A lot of times, colors mesh too much and lose their true color.
The anatomy is INCREDIBLY well done. And the whole picture just flows very nicely together.
