Description Yeah...I'm really tired now. I'm lovin' bein' a nerd. 'Cause bein' a nerd means that I can do stuff like this. I don't wanna draw real people. They stress me out. And besides, look how cute that Mark Antony is I just adore him and all his deviousness >3.

Characters:

Caesar: Tyrant, killed by the conspirators (including Brutus and Cassius). His ghost appears to Brutus before he does battle against Mark Antony and Octavius.

Brutus: Friend to Caesar, head conspirator. He listens to Cassius when he shouldn't (Cassius: Hey, let's kill Caesar!), and ignores him when he shouldn't (Cassius: Let's kill Mark Antony).

Cassius: Friend to Brutus, conspirator against Caesar.

Mark Antony: Friend to Caesar, after Caesar's death he works with Octavious to defeat Brutus and Cassius and to take over Rome.

Octavious: Caesar's heir.

The Soothsayer: Warns Caesar about the ides of March (March 15th).

Portia: Wife to Brutus, Cassius' sister.

Calphurnia: Wife to Caesar. She has horrible dreams about Caesar's death, a huge comet blazes across the sky, and a bird that is cut open for fortune telling purposes has no heart. All those omens and Caeasr still does not listen to his wife to stay home.

Artemidorious: Appears out of nowhere (gets a whole scene to himself) with a note about the conspirators. No one cares to explain where he got it. Caesar ignores him when he tries to give it to him.

Lepidus: Works with Antony against Brutus. Antony then insults him behind his back and tries to squeeze him out of the picture (which he does). Antony tells him to go kill his brother and he does...

Cinna (the poet): Cinna was a conspirator. When the Pleabians see the poet they think he's the conspirator. When he explains that he's a poet, they say "lets kill him anyway for writing bad poetry". Poor guy...

Lucius: Servent to Brutus.

Thank you ^-^ I tried to sum up the character's personality/role up in those few sentenses, so it's nice to know that I succeeded.

Well, I only put in characters that caught my eye, like some of my friends were sad that they didn't see Cinna (the one that's not the poet).

I really liked this. Love Antony's expression. So cute and sneaky. And Lucius is so adorable down in the corner. And lol at Artemidorus in all his randomness and... yeah. I love them all.

Haha. You're welcome. ^^ And I know what you mean. I'm mildly obsessed with it myself. Just mildly, of course!

Antony is pure epicness. And I say that as a die-hard Brutus fangirl.

LOVE that soliloquy. Love his speech to the plebs (of course!), and I love his little rant about Lepidus.

"Am I your wife or your whore?!"

Is that actually a line in the play?

Because if it is, I am so reading this. C:

Panda-Food In reply to luffyrox243 [2010-01-30 19:36:08 +0000 UTC]

Well, Brutus is thinking about what Cassius has said and he's a little upset. So Portia asks him what is wrong, and he refuses to tell her. So she goes on to say something along the lines of: "I talk to you, I share your bed, I clean and I cook, if nothing else Portia is Brutus' harlot, not his wife!".
