This is what happens when Maya obssesses over one thing: Pheonix Wright + Pokemon crossover!"Go Phoenixchu go!" *Tosses pokeball*
Decided to draw this due to the release of Pokemon Pearl and Diamond. I actually started this before the release and only finished it now because I was busy playing the game. XD Thought it would be fun to have Phoenix Wright characters tossing pokeballs. Imagine what would happen if they did have Pokemon battles in court.

I'm reminded of a time in the office when Phoenix and Maya are discussing the lion tamer for the Berry Big Circus. Maya starts wondering if she could train Nick and says "Nick! Nick! Roll over!" Phoenix responds that he'll roll over as much as she likes once the trial is over, and she says she'll hold him to his word.
Now, is that flirting or just some of the usual cracked-out banter of theirs? I have no clue.
On to more relevant topics, Phoenix with a Pikachu mask is made of win. Though his expressions seems to indicate he believes otherwise.

There's no doubt that as you go further in to the Phoenix Wright series, Phoenix and Maya both don't mind people misunderstanding their 'relationship' as that of a couple. The hints become more and more obvious in the third instalment of the game (you should see Phoenix comment on Maya in a waitress suit!). XD Cracker-out banter can lead to a probable relationship!
ps: thanks for the fav! And isn't it just something you can imagine happening whenever Maya gets involved in a fad? She'd force Nick into some Steel Samurai suit if she could get her hands on one!
