Damn this is awesome!
That chin could destroy a planet.
They should do a Comedian spinoff...hes the best character from Watchmen.
Jeffery Dean Morgan did a brilliant job.

I really did think he was the best part of the movie as far as how it correlated with the book's character.

Love it. The Comedian was one of my favorite characters because of how human he was.

I was always curious, are you a devout Alan Moore fan or do you just like Watchmen? It's cool either way but he has so many great books that you should check out. I think you would love his story, Brought to Light. An anthropomorphic eagle talks about all of the underhanded dealings of the C.I.A., it's right up your alley!

I'm a pretty big fan actually. I really dig V, and League, and Watchmen, and From Hell... and well, the list goes on. Looks like that book's pretty hard to get a hold of. It's like $50 - $80 on amazon!

Yeah, I had to just download the book from the internet, thats how I've gotten all of my hard to find comics.

[link] That's the torrent for it, Im not sure if you are familiar with torrents or not but all you need is a Bit Torrent Client to start to download it and you will also need a program that can read .cbr files. For windows it's CDisplay for Macs it's FFView. Sounds like a lot of work but it's totally worth it, I'll have to scour my Alan Moore files to find it otherwise I would have just sent you the file.

haha, that ones awesome!
i agree they absolutely nailed the comedian visually - who would have thought, before those promo pics in full gear surfaced?
although i really missed a bit of depth to him in the movie... hes a good bit more likeable and fleshed out as a character in the comic.

Yeah, I totally hear you.
I would, however, say that he was one of the most accurately portrayed in the movie.
Thanks again for the kind words!!

yeah, the whole movie was surprisingly faithful, given how much the comic doesnt give a shit about political correctness. it would have been easy to change all the characters to be easier to digest, making ozy the hero and rorschach & the comedian into two crazy nazis who get their due share by being killed.
