Hello everyone; here is my latest obsession: James Marsters. I just finished watching the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series and am totally addicted to this guy. His character, a vampire named Spike, is one that you love to hate and hate to love... but eventually, love him you do. This is a flashback scene from the season 5 episode "Fool For Love" - it's the 1970s, Spike has already gone from poet to punk, and he's in New York City terrorizing Nikki Wood the Slayer in a subway train. This is also one of the first episodes to show a genuine pro-Spuffy moment.

I do enjoy Bangel and wish it could've worked out, but Spuffy is nitty-gritty and *real* and thus has a special place in my heart. And James Marsters is an amazing person, not just as Spike and not just as an actor/musician but as an outspoken voice for larger world issues. Plus, how could you not love punk!Spike...

Okay, enough Buffy-worship. I didn't make this wallpaper, but I wish I did. I love the line that says "Being in love is totally punk rock." It's just so fitting to the whole 'Spike look' and to the Spuffy storyline. <3

Err, that was actually made by me. I don't know where you got it from. Either my deviantart account or my Flickr page.

HEY! I've never been to your DeviantArt until today, but I was doing quite a few Google searches of Spike-related wallpapers at the time. It was more likely snagged from your Flickr, probably during one of my booze-induced trigger-finger moments in which I see how fast I can click on those Google image thumbnails...

Either way, that's no excuse, and I apologize for the long overdue credit. Honestly, thank you for letting me know it's yours! It's nice to meet the original maker, especially as this is my favorite punk!Spike wallpaper and brings back good summertime memories for me, even now.

I've edited my 'request for artist name' to reflect that credit belongs to you! <3 Have a great day and an awesome weekend~

Thanks! Actually I used to hate Spike too (like, with a passion) until the whole Gloria arc. That completely changed my view of him, and yes I love punk!Spike... he was VERY hot in this episode.
