Design trade with the awesome *ERA-985-0-000Seriously, she's amazing. She's only 13 and her art can kick my art in the nuts. It's all thanks to her that I'm starting to enjoy more drawing dragons <3

For some reason this guy/gal's colour scheme makes me happy. Yellow and red usually go so well together

Hey. Not to start anything with you or be rude- I'm actually just pointing something out on behalf of my friend, *annmonster . This species is like way too close to being an MTT. While they don't have stick legs or eyes, they look eerily similar and the info seems similar as well.
I'm sure you get this sort of thing every now and again- and I'm not sure if you've talked to *annmonster about this, but I dunno. I'm just trying to understand if this.

I haven't talked to *annmonster about this, no. Especially since I had created the Tamakii specie way before finding out about her having an account on here, or the MTT specie, or the Zero's as well. I don't think they're very similar, but we're all entitled to our opinions, so I accept yours ^v^
What I'm trying to say, anyway, is that I haven't, in any way possible, copied the MTT specie. It would be rude and not respectful towards the owner of the specie, and having had my art ripped off or stolen already once, the last thing I want to do is to make others feel the same way I did.

Well, I just spoke to her about the matter.
It's really not a matter of if you created them before you saw the MTTs or not, it's the matter that they are really similar, and you have been told about this multiple times before. I'm not saying you did for sure just rip them off, but, if they look too similar to another species, or if the information looks too much the same- it may be time for a little re-vamp. There are obvious differences, like I said, but most of those are just rarities that almost never happen within your species, or the fact that you took out their eyes, and stick legs. :I
Unfortunately, I see that a lot of popular species like MTTs, AoSaai, and Shinlai, get copied off of and made into an open species because the creators got mad that they couldn't have the real thing. Art theft is one thing... species theft is an entirely different subject. That species is the child of someone's hard work, and when you copy off of that and claim it as your own... I don't really know dude. That sort of thing just upsets me, whether it was copied purposely or not.

It won't be necessary for her to talk to me. I'm taking down the specie and rebuilding it from scratch.
I'm just... sick of hearing people complaining about my species being similar to other species.
I can completely understand that it ticks you off, it does the same to me. But it's not very respectful either when you tell an artist that their child is a rip off of someone else's, when obviously it isn't.
Again, for the last time. I'm changing my Tamakii's. But I know they'll be taken for a rip off once again, as always.

I really wasn't complaining to you, and I don't think she will say anything to you because I doubt she wants to deal with this again. It's not the first time that they've been copied or have had another species pop up on them like that.
It's not disrespectful to say that you're claiming something that looks and sounds like something that another person has already made. I'm not trying to be mean or sound rude, but I think re-vamping your species would be the best thing to do for everyone. I don't think you should be this upset about it either, because now, if you do redesign your species, that will make them more original.
If you want any help with making them more original, just ask questions. Don't think I'm just this rude idiot who likes to beat people up for whatever reason, because I'm not. I'm actually just being friendly to you and digging you out of an even bigger situation later on.

Like I said, I've seen what happens when there is a species or character that looks like someone else's, and if the situation isn't fixed or dealt with properly in the first place, it turns into a complete Hell for everyone around.
ERA was recently telling me of someone who copied a character and the people who she fought with are trying to hunt her down or something. It's ridiculous because that person switched over like five accounts to hide from them and still never got away. I don't really know, but I do know that you'd be saving yourself a ton of trouble by editing your species.
