/throws sketch compilation at you (ノಠ益ಠ)ノHoly shit this took forever to put together. Lots and lots of sketches done from march to may. They should be the older at the top and the newer at the bottom.
Most of them were sketched out of despair during university classes. Informatics was boring as hell.
Some of them were greatly inspired by playing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. That game is fucking awesome.
The faun character you see there is Pandalecko.
The one in my icon is one of the few coloured sketches I have. His name is Skye and I love him to bits. uvu
As you can see, I have the problem that I prefer doing headshots over everything else. EEEEEH.
Also TLK-sora is a bitch to draw ugh
Some sketches haven't been put here because:
1 - They're gonna be digitalized for sure and then put in a digital-only deviation
2 - They're reference sheet material
3 - idk I probably forgot them
Ababababa I'm starting to miss this site but exams getting close so nOPE

Some of them - like Skye - were adopted designs, so I was lucky to snatch them before someone else did.

Holy shit, thats quite alot of sketches ;U; How long do you spend on one of them usually? I just manage to do like one every day, and it already takes half an hour or more to get one done

Well, depends. I can spend five minutes per sketch or even 20/30 minutes depending on how detailed they are. Headshots usually take me no more than ten minutes, so my average is five or six sketches per day, when I draw.
I get the feeling though, back on my ~darkdra account, when I was a beginner, even a headshot would take me forever. But the more you draw, the faster you get.
Especially if you decide to just mindlessly sketch as fast as possible for a few days, without caring about the end result. Get inspired by the music and just sketch! Whatever happens, even if it doesn't come out alright, it makes you draw faster. And you automatically improve as well.
A good exercise *Thalassa-Star suggested me is to put your iTunes / mp3 on shuffle, and draw a sketch for every song you get. Quickly, mindlessly and with a black pen, that way you can't erase or fix your mistakes. And when the song stops, you leave it as it is and start another sketch. It's a great exercise (the coloured sketches with a song title next to them were drawn like that).

You're welcome! Details can be fun to draw, but it's refreshing to just sketch without giving it too much thought. And it's really relaxing, especially after studying.
