Description I have planned to do my first 'big' digital picture, but this time before attempting it and failing and giving up forever again, i decided to practice a few things first, before i plunge myself into the scary side of finishing a drawing ^^

This is my eye, and I tried my best. It took me an unholy 3 hours, which might seem like a long time, and I'm sure it is, but hopefully with more practice I'll be able to draw faster ^^

Let me know what you think and where I can improve ^^

I'm not 100% with the brow to be honest, just doesnt sit right with me....

Aaaaa Anna this is great! *V* Your understanding of shading is spot on. If I had to say anything though I would say that the iris does not blend in to the white part of the eye so well, the edges are too harsh, so maybe next time maybe try making the edges a little softer? I like how you're using lots of different types of colours here (I can see pinks and purples among the colours which is great) but I'd advise being a little more dynamic with your colour use because the colour palette makes the picture look a little muddy imo. However it's the opposite for the iris of the eye, I think the green is a little /too/ vibrant in relation to the rest of this picture, so maybe tone it down a little on the eye next time.
Apart from that it looks good to me! The brow looks fine to me to be perfectly honest, if you're not happy with it maybe next time try making your strokes lighter/softer.
Good job dude!

Thank you for your help Jade!! It really means a lot, and i agree with you 100% When I first drew it i thought it was good, but as I look back on it every time, all the flaws jump out at me more and more ^^ I'm not quite sure what you mean about being more dynamic with color, do you just mean use "quicker" strokes, or pick a more 'lively' color palette? (sorry, i'm completely in the dark about this OTL) I agree, now looking at it, the iris looks way too green lol Funny enough the more i look at it, i realize the brow is really the only thing that looks half decent on this haha Thank you so so much again for your help!!!
