My third zootopia fanart. Until now I've seen it 4 times on cinema, and definitely I'm going to buy it on bluray. Disney is going to make me poor.A scene I was working on while I was sick, instead work on my pending commissions as I supposed to do, I'm doing this picture.
Gideon, the fox's pies, was a very interesting character, and plays a very important issue that many of us may feel identified either side of him, or Judy.
When someone tries to snatch your dreams, but you keep going, and you don't care obstacles, those are which make you stronger.
Or when you look to the past, and you realize your mistakes, and you don't know if people that you hurted before will suffice for them a pardon, and if that forgiveness really interests them, or it's just to feel at peace with yourself.
The past is which molded us who we are, but ultimately are ourselves who decided what to be in this life.
If you want to be elephant, become an elephant!

This is a really awesome drawing, I must say! I really wish I saw this happen in the movie itself!
For the Vision part of this, it shows that we can fix our past mistakes, and it's also important to forgive someone if they're sincere with their apology. Judy and Gideon do exactly that, and end up forming a friendship here, which I really approve of!
This is also original. It sticks with the movie's theme and isn't like most Zootopia fanart I see. Most of the time fanart of the movie usually just focuses on pairings and romance, but this one doesn't and instead shows all three of the characters here as friends.
As for the technique, this is very well-drawn! The colors aren't too bright nor too dark, the shading and lighting is very realistic, and it also very closely resembles the style of the actual movie while it's also obvious to see that actual effort was put into it instead of them just being traced.
The impact also deserves 5 stars here, since all in all, I'm glad to have found this drawing!
With all that being said, I love this drawing, and keep up the great work!

I agree completely about howΒ these characters were at the end, no resentments, accepting their past and learning from it for their present.
I'm not very used to do fanarts, only when I really want to do it, when I know something deserves a fanart, but I'm more used to do original characters or other's OCs, but zootopia was too shocking enough for me to deserve some fanarts. The story made me thought a lot about many things, about the message, about the characters (that's why this scene appeared)..

As for this artwork, it has awesome vision, awesome originality, awesome technique and a great impact! This police fox character is picking one of desserts from the bakery. The baker fox is holding a piece of pie. The colors are wonderful, though. The police rabbit's partner is the police fox. The police fox does sure love desserts! I am proud of this artwork, because it is really impressive and interesting. This artwork was from the Disney animated movie, "Zootopia." The Mayor Lion was voiced by J.K. Simmons, the guy who voiced the Yellow M&Ms character from the commercials. Great work!

I would love this scene to happen. I think it would be like this. Very funny and clever.
Vision: Again, really beautiful. How you did the reflections on the glass is really well done. Love how you did the details on Gideon's hair. I would love to see how Gideon turn from a bully to one who is quite polite with others. The lighting is also beautiful and brimming with beauty.
Originality: This scene would sing itself to glory with the dialogue. It writes itself. This is a well distinctive and makes Nick as if he is a kid at heart. Not childish and immature but has a wondering smiling glee like a kid. I want this scene to be made in a sequel or a TV animated episode and be this well made.
Technique: The expressions are very well done; they look like as if they are having a nice relaxing time. Very gracefully stylised and wonderfully simple in a great way. Also how you did the simple details on the desserts are very sublime in a simplistic way.
Impact: Although I could see this as a good scene, the impact looks very promising. How these characters would interact could make for a story that could be emotional; funny; charming and full of glee. I think this art piece represents the potential it has.
Go see this movie. I love it that much. Disney needs to make this scene happen any way.

Well first, I love the picture(It's so cute) and the idea of being what you want in life. Although, being anyone or anything else is unrealistic, I personally like idea that make possibilities endless.
Going after our dreams are important, so I agree to not let anybody snatch them away from us. We are all unique in our own way and our dreams play a role on that.
The art work of this piece is very good. The thing that stood out to me were the animals themselves because of there enlightened expressions.

This piece is quite nice. I really like the looks of the pies and cakes, they look very realistic and delicious too. I also like the way the background looks very intricate. A lot of effort must have been put into this piece of wonderful art.
Also, the way you made the characters look is very nice. They looks accurate to the movie, which isn't an easy task to do. I also enjoyed the reflection on the glass, as it really looks real.
On the whole, I enjoy this art piece, and Zootopia as a movie was very good. If you get inspired by looking at this piece of art, go see it.

Thank you very much for this critique. It was a really simple background but with some ligts and gradients it looks really good. The glass are just white figures with low opacity, and some blured spots of colors.
But the characters were done with a lot of love, I really loved that film so much.

I don't know how much money I must have given to Disney over this past year, it must be a few hundred pounds (GBP) at least.
This picture looks beautiful Paco and I loved how they redeemed Gideon's character, while making Judy and Nick's dreams come true too.

I would have liked to see at least a little bit more of Gideon Grey in the movie, and I think visiting his shop would've been the perfect way to do it.

This looks very nice, and it's apparent that you put a lot of effort into it. I especially like the way you drew Gideon here, and you did quite well on both Nick and Judy's police uniforms. I like how enthusiastic Nick is at the prospect of eating the pastries, and I appreciate all the little details you've put into this artwork - the character's fur, the wood plank texturing, the reflections on the glass, etc... There's even a blackboard for writing down the store specials. The shop looks charming and old-fashioned, and I expect it would be pleasantly cool inside so as to preserve the treats freshness - making one's entrance into the shop accompanied not only by the scents of freshly baked goods, but also a very welcome temperature change when compared to the hot summery one outside. Very good artwork. Nicely done.
