"Tell me if it doesn't work please. "

Not to be a huge dick, but it's really nice if you test it yoself before posting. It's really disappointing to inky paper only to have the colour run out at the end and have a star not completely covered in pretty

Although, with 19 you should be okay.

Love the colors on em, and the contrast with the dark and neon colours. Looks awesome

I'm glad you put that, otherwise I'd rage on your ass.
I'm an almost all A student right now, and I do have a life. Not much, yeah, but I do have one. I don't have a colour printer at my house, so unless you have an idea to print them well with colour, I can't. I have to use the school printer, and they kinda frown on that.

"to inky paper only to have the colour run out at the end and have a star not completely covered in pretty "

What?
You start with the bottom, so you don't waste ink. You say you live in Canada? I heard that Canada is in worse financial trouble. Any small step to lighten spending is good. Even if it's a small amount.

Thanks, I try to make star paper that is unlike some other types.

(Also, the paper type and type of printer can directly affect how your stars fold. I already know that the paper is correct size, depending on how you put it to paper.)

I could have 'raged on your ass' as you put it for not testing. Decided to take the not-a-dick route.

Colour ink isn't necessary, and if you decide you wanna make templates all you need to do is verify ONE template works. Use that template from then on, presto, instant-verification for every single one. No fuss.

Printer type doesn't affect anything in practicality, other than personal taste. I've used shit library computers to print black and whites on color paper with no visible difference between that and a home printer, but yes paper type/weight is very important.

To PRINT your paper and have it run out of COLOR, EVEN WHEN BEGUN WITH ABSOLUTELY NO END TIBBY HANGING OFF THE FIRST FOLD OF THE PENTAGON, REALLY. REALLY. SUCKS.

If this is not clear: The paper is cut, the first 'knot' is tied in it to form a pentagon extremely close to the end without excess paper to be torn, the star is folded as usual, but when the end is reached, because the paper was a half-page and not a whole one, a small portion of the star is not wrapped in color, BECAUSE THE PAPER WASN'T TESTED. Thus if you care about continuity, (as I so obviously do), a whole page of precious star strips have been reduced to merde. I'm not pleased to have had to type so much as an explanation.

If you do not know of this infuriating phenomena, you have not been making half-pages at absolute ink-save value for very long. And Please, I half-paged before anyone. I've always thought it was really stupid to waste ink you didn't see, hence my gallery. =/ Been making these a LOT longer than I've been posting, so sadly I know my shit. If the ratio leaves your stars covered, it always will, no mater what scale it's being printed at.

I'd prefer not to know about your personal life, thanks.

Really, because you came off as a dick.

I have now verified that it works.

"To PRINT your paper and have it run out of COLOR, EVEN WHEN BEGUN WITH ABSOLUTELY NO END TIBBY HANGING OFF THE FIRST FOLD OF THE PENTAGON, REALLY. REALLY. SUCKS." - I really have no control over this.

"because the paper was a half-page and not a whole one, a small portion of the star is not wrapped in color, BECAUSE THE PAPER WASN'T TESTED."
Bullshit. I tested it today, and it worked fine. Which means that they all should, because they're all the same template. There are also two ways to fold the star. I used a tutorial you can find on DA,[link] If you use this method, then the stars work fine. No run out of color, good shape, etc.

Seriously, All you did was reiterate what I asked while completely missing the small point I tried to make in a not-so-long and rude post. This is annoying because I simply tried to say, "Making stars that don't work sucks." thus if you plan on making stuff test it, same as it hurts to build a 8hr+ papercraft and once the actual assembly of the thing starts, you realize the person who uploaded it failed to test it, and you're left with a gun that simply won't fit together. All I'm on about is the principle of respect for someone's time and printermoney.

I ended with that I noted they would 'most likely' (80% chance) work, never tried t'tell ya they didn't.

THANK YOU GOOD SIR FOR THE VERIFICATION. THIS IS All.

Stars take like a minute to make. Not in the least an 8 hour project.

Why make such a damn big deal over whether or not I test /my/ paper?
I make it for me, and anyone else who wants it.

Noooo, I totally couldn't tell that was your point. Not at all. Here I thought you were rambling about global warming.

Glad to hear it's all, you can now go PMS somewhere else.

Oh, and also, I gave a few details as to my personal life to be polite and try to offer an explanation as to WHY I don't have time to bother testing every damn thing I throw out. I've used a good amount of star paper from DA and haven't seen a single one I can think of that says "Hey, I tested this," or anything like that.

I know I wasn't the first half-pager. That's hyperbole. I care about this.

I kind of knew you aren't and were just being a smart ass.

Well, they've been tested now, so...

Get the fuck over it and accept that you don't govern what people submit?

I do hate arguing, but damn. Seriously? It's star paper. Star fucking paper. It's not going to end the damn world.
