Some times I draw a sketch, scan it in and then draw over it in photoshop. Some times I just draw directly in PS.

Yeah I used to do that myself... but due to lack of a scanner, I'm purely PS.
Nothing beats drawing with pencil though... tends to look more natural...

(Note: these are fakemon I am developing, so just choose which sounds most interesting)
Pick a starter!
Chirpie
Grass/Flying starter that's fond of resting on heads and shoulders. It loves picking in the leaves, and loves eating small fruit. It's final evolution is the majestic Sanceautan, which has a large flower on its rear, and colorful wings.
Wombab
Fire/Ground starter that adores being cuddled just as much as digging. It wags it's tail almost all the time! It's final evolution is Myfarmot, which uses it's large, retractable wings to blow loose chunks of the ground at it's foes. It also tends to hunt pokemon for game, but only goes as far as defeating them.
Pepond
Water/Ice starter that can't help but spalsh in the water with it's flippers! It's a penguin turtle and gains serious shell weight upon evolution. It's final evolution, Tortemparc, is almost taller than Golurk, but weighs almost twice what Groudon does! It has an extremely strong body to support such weight if only 812 pounds of it's weight is it's body.
