Leuce then lived the best years of her life with her husband and daughter. But some time after Elysee became adults, Gigantomachia was declared and Zeus asked to Hades to help him in its fight against the Giants. Hades decided to attend but hid Leuce and Elysee in a remote part of Elysion to protect hers. But Leuce could not bear to remain hidden while the one she loved riquait his life. Then Hades helped Zeus fight Typhon, the giant was about to seriously injure the god of the underworld, but then Leuce appeared to Hades and took the blow for him. She died in the arms of God, saying, with a smile on his lips, that she loved him and asked him to look after their daughter. Once the Giant defeated Hades brought the body of his wife in Elysion where their daughter was, heartbroken. But wanting Leuce that stays with him forever, Hades transformed the body of his lost Queen into a beautiful white poplar. The field of Elysion where that tree was, took the name of "Leuce".
PERSONALITY:
Leuce was a sweet, generous woman who wanted above all the happiness of his family and their safety. His love for Hades was immeasurable. She would rather die than live without him, even leaving behind people who were dear to her, hence his sacrifice to save him. She also loved her daughter and was very sad to leave it at the time of his death. She was also very attached to her brothers and sisters, and especially Metis, her older sister, with whom she was very symbiotic, and his parents.
PS: Like any Océanides Leuce has fins instead of ears and scales on his cheeks.
*I want to clarify, for its characteristic Océanide (scales and fins), I was inspired to Zeldacw.
