A dear patron of mine who shall remain nameless recently commissioned me to commemorate the birth of his gorgeous new son! I was, both as an artist and a rabid lover of little kids, ecstatic for such an invitation! Little did we know the gravity and majesty the young gentleman would provide us in his reference poses, truly the makings of a portrait for the agesXD His loving father picked a name for him imbued with all the strength and genius of his Norse roots for those many worms, dragons, and monsters he would have to fight in life, and we wove those sentiments with the intertwining Urnes Staves stone carvings as backdrop. I could not be prouder of how it came out, and again am infinitely grateful to have been trusted with such a portrait <3
