Huh. Now that's interesting.
The blue tones are pretty much according to the scene, and the drawing itself is quite realistic, as well as the creases of the cloth. Also the light is pretty coherent here. It looks very expressive. I like it.
Some issues I have thou is the direction of Lion's eyes. In the screenshot, he looks like it's looking at Steven; however here it looks like he's looking something from above. I ignore if this is intentional or not.
The other thing is how close are Steven's eyes from each other. This or the eyebrows are maybe too short. I'm not sure. And Lion's head looks like a bit bald. Maybe if you work the hair a bit more... I'm not telling you that you should to every little hair. Maybe working the shading a bit more in Lion's body should do. You nailed it on the mane thou. Hm, Steven's pose looks like he's standing despite Lion's grabbing him.
But yeah, not bad at all. It needs a bit more of work, but It's not bad.
