Amy's enthusiasm is certainly hard to miss.Β Though, Sonic has shown on multiple occasions that he isn't ready (yet) for anything more than a friendship with Amy.Β I must wonder if Amy has actually not noticed this fact, or simply doesn't care.Β But I feel that she'd have more success (long-term) if she stopped trying to hard to win Sonic's heart, and instead, just focused on being as good of a friend to Sonic as she can.Β In time, Sonic may come to see a relationship with Amy as an enhancement to his life, but even then, it's up to him.

Yeah I totally agree. I want Sega to make Amy more mature and independent in the future games. I know she's only 12 but I think that's the only way we will see some development between these two. I mean in Sonic Boom, Amy has the ideal personality imo and it's heavily implied that both Sonic and Amy are dating. Even if they aren't, its obvious that Sonic is interested in her. That's why I really love Sonic Boom Amy xD

Agreed, and I think in more recent games and media Amy actually has become a lot more independent and sonic doesnβt seem to be bothered by her anymore (not that her crush was ever a problem infact I always found there dynamic very cute and hilarious π) and personally Iβve saw there relationship as something like thisΒ A matter of time
