Description
This summer i'm going to try to improve my art skills. I'm going to draw or work on drawing something each day with the hope that i'll improve some. So, any tips or anything are welcome.I wanted to do a few more birds to get the feel for everything since my first bird was this week. So, I chose the majestic eagle. They're so pretty.

Very nice. I love the expression in the eye and the beak is done very well too. I think you could do a little bit better on the feathers however. From afar it looks like a photograph, which is fantastic, but when you enlarge the picture you can definitely tell its a sketch. Otherwise it was done very well and the shading is perfect.

That is if you're going for more realism. If you're going for more of a sketch than its just fine.

well, i guess i'd say it's somewhere in the middle. Haha. I wanted realism, but I didn't spend as much time on it compared to the time I usually spend on my drawings. So, for the time put in, i'm not completely disappointed with how it came out. :]

I've noticed that too. The amount of time you put into a drawing is really what you get out of it. And you shouldn't be dissapointed, it was done very well.
