So this was not my fav makeup ever.... point of fact it shouldnt even be in my portfolio. However, I put so much work into all of it I had to at least show you guys the results.... It kinda makes me uncomfortable to look at.- I totally made that costume last minute, i had no time to get it perfect sadly cuz it would looked bad ass if I had perfected it. I made that hair piece , which is actually 3 pieces glued to her head. That thing took forever to make... trust me. She also had some gloved that we had sewn outta vinyl. The had like three long alien fingers...
Sorry i dont have better photos.... we were given 3 hours to complete the makeup. this is a 3 piece prosthetic with a bald cap and hand laid hair ... and contacts...of course

I just got accepted for the Imats New York in prosthetic and I'm stressing out a bit haha. Do they give you random foam pieces ? Or do you get to choose? It must be pretty stressful if the pieces don't fit with the concept you were going for ! ^^

OMG!!! thats a huge win for you great job , thats so awesome! I was so nervous going into it , I was a total wreck, I couldnt keep calm to save my life, I was up all night trying to finish the costume and I didnt even have any Idea of that the pain scheme was going to be I was a mess from the get, so I know how challeneging it is super great job congrats, Ill try to find some time today to look at your stuff, also add me on fb if you have one im much better on there cuz DA doesnt have an app lol im under miriam writer or panicmunkeyfx

Yeah it was a pretty stressful time for me too ! I was so nervous to be around other amazing artist and honestly I was afraid of cattiness and bitchiness, but all the girls were so nice, in fact I've stayed in touch with a few of them! I was going through stupid...grieving and heartbreak, and I think that kind of helped me through it all. My bf broke up with me the day I found out that I had gotten in...and then a few days before the show my grandmother passed away ....so I took all that and just concentrated on makeup haha. I'll look you up and add you !!

I think the next IMATS in the US should be next year around July. It used to be a pro only event but I think this last year they started making tickets available to the general public. I really hope to see you there next year I should be fun
