So this is the banner for my portfolio website which I'm working on now for uni
It's a bit of a subtle parallax-website, so the different levels of the image will move a different speeds you scroll down, making a pretty neat, simple field of depth. I have no patience with websites and coding or any of that stuff, so I'm surprised to say I'm quite happy with the look of it so far
I'll make sure to get you a link as soon as it's finished an online!
Also since I exported this as a gif, the colours are a bit.. eh.. compressed. The full version is nice and smoooth

Thanks! I usually animate backgrounds by using tweening and making them move automatically in flash or after effects. Or if there's a camera-option in the program I can use that. It's tricky to explain in text

Do you know what you'll use to make the website? I have a site of my own, but am not completely in love with the editing program... just wondering if you have an idea. ^^

hmm, I haven't tried very many myself, I'm using Muse to make mine now. It's pretty straight forward, but if you want to do something more complicated it's apparently not as easy. I hear Dreamweaver is pretty good too, but haven't tried it

Ah, I'm currently using wix for my website.
its really a great online site builder and gives you free range of basically everything you want your site to have, not to mention it's free to use. ^^
Wordpress is also pretty good, but only if you're constantly uploading written content. I've always had trouble updating blogs. >_<"

Hehhh, I have no idea what I'm doing either... I just use Adobe Muse to do most of the coding and stuff ._. apparently it's not very responsive at all, so my website is just useless on tablets and phones... And I'm too impatient to fix it. I'll just.. get my boyfriend to figure it out for me, haha.Β
