My entry for InfernalEvanesce 's Design Me a Wyvern contest!You mentioned bugs as a theme you liked, so I kinda went with that!
I originally wanted to make a pretty bug, but I honestly can't resist making big uglies.
Quick info:
Body is covered in tough plating.
Massive eyes for a wide range of vision.
Long antennae that are used both for feeling its environment and picking up vibrations around it.
Three wing fingers and very wrinkled, yet tough, wing membrane.
Small pincers on the side of the mouth to hold prey in place.
3 toes.
Massive bug booty.

the colours look natural and really lovely together there
