Like many of my photos, this wasn't shot with a fixed, pre-conceived narrative in mind. Β As a result, the title only reflects one possible way to see the image. Β I consider the impressions of other viewers to be equally valid, and I am always interested to hear about what others see! Β As for why I called it Rebellion, what I see is the hands representing something from within the subconscious trying to emerge and assert itself, while struggling with the dominance of the conscious mind, as represented by the body. Β
