Well, i have seen ALOT of things like this. Mirrored objects over/in water. I don't really see a purpose in it, and it isn't all that eye pleasing. Sorry.

I'm sorry but I've seen a lot of things like this, bubbels 'n so on in the water reflecting each other, now you've eaten the middle of your "bubble"..
Well, the right edge on your donut is a bit dull, I also think that the donut would look more like a donut if it had more donut texture and colour. The whole piece would be a lot better too, if the donut really were a donut.
