Description Take my hand and pull me
From this river
Of passing moments
It's so easy to drown
In lost time

Let me rest against
A rock and watch as
Time passes me by
And lost moments
Float down the past

I weep as I watch
These silver moments
Of life trickle away
Time not spent laughing
Time not spent loving

I was too afraid
Of drowning

I like the concept of this one... such irony. I think we all at one point realize just how little time we have left, yet we do nothing and just let it fly by... I guess fear holds us back. Nice work.

Thats lovely. It feels good to see some more poetry up here on your space.

It is a kind of beautiful irony in itself. It looks like you were too afraid of being scolded in life to actually live it.

Favourite!

Hmm... I enjoy this. Very simple wording, not too involved in itself. Sort of a 'pretty tragedy'. Lets do lunch, this monotonous life needs some thrills. Rapids maybe?
