I still can't believe you are doing this with ballpoint pens, just amazing! I have been trying graphite for awhile but I think that I am a born Pen&Ink person....I am going to have to experiment with some colors. By the way, another awesome drawing, thank you for sharing them with us [link]

I love it. It looks really realistic, but you can see that it's drawing at the same time, which I love. The shadows are really good too.

I'll be honest here. I don't care much for realism because it limits your ability to be creative, which is pretty much the definition of art. And i hate the fact that ppl think that more realistic drawings are better quality.....no.....being more realistic doesn't automatically make it a superior level. But.....I do appreciate someone with an eye for detail and i think ball point pen is a creative medium to use so, that is why i love your work.

I still can't wrap my head around how you ball-point pen artists get such a large spectrum of colors with the limited color range of ball-point pens... So amazing!!!

Its probably in the same department as how some people are capable of working wonders with an oil color palette of Red, Green, and Blue only.

Well, actually, there are plenty of the main colors need for stuff like this. And as for other colors, like flesh, Colors like yellow, pink, purple, and/or red is blended together.....Brown ball point pens also exist.

Yeah, I have a set of ball-point pens with many kinds of colors including brown. However what I find amazing here is how these artists are capable of making them seem so well blended. In another submission he explains that he layers it to form the illusion of a blended color. How he does that is what amazes me since when I try it... I just get a mash.
