damn... I really regret buying my Macbook seeing how this particular generation came with really fucked up monitors. I'm talking maximum tolerance angle > 20 degrees. It's THAT bad. Great colour management, but nearly impossible to paint or work on cause of the viewing angle.

when you talk about the vewing angle, you talk about the glossy screen ?

I bought a MacBroken.. not the Macbook Pro. And yes, the screen colours will start to get affected if you view it at slightly different angles. Mac is famous for their high quality displays that let you view from more angles and still look great. This particular generation.. the black will become 70% grey the moment you lower your head just 2 inches. Its that bad.

Bottom line is maybe this lousy monitor is just exclusive to southeast asia? When I was in san francisco in march I went to the apple store and they looked fine :/ Fucked up cheap deals. Meh!

ah yea ... too bad, the ma broken is not enough powerfull and the screen is not good, it's more computer for programation, not for illustration / graphic design i think. The best are mac book pro, screen quality is awesome, definition and colour are really nice, and it's really powerfull. You work your illustration with this makbroken ?? if you do that your are awesome man

No I only use my macbroken for games :/ I played crysis wars recently on it. Runs perfectly on midrange settings.

Not at all! Its great. Played crysis wars fine as mentioned in the first reply. And the pro series will only fare better.
