While Naga was perhaps too young for memories of his father to have stuck around for this long, the memories were kept alive by what he was told by his sickly, dying mother.

Why did dad leave? Was responded with ragged breathing and watery eyes. A shaking head as Motina warned her child to not call him such, for he was not father to Naga and no mate to Motina. As for why? Well, she seemed caught in a limbo of exhaustion and confusion. Often she would just keep talking words that seemed mostly like nonsense. About how she'd fallen in love too quickly with a wolf who saw only her weakness and abandoned her with that and a child he'd never intended on raising. Perhaps it was wrong for a mother to tell her child that their father saw them as weak and marked for death; saw Naga as only a burden and a whelp that wouldn't even outlive his own sick mother... That was surely too much for a child to carry.

But Naga carried it. He still does. All this time he had held onto those memories and refused to let them go; living instead with the feelings of betrayal stewing within.

Naga, for his quiet and collected exterior, is filled with a bitter, monstrous rage. He doesn't show it often, but when he thinks too long about his father, his teeth ache and his stomach turns with a hunger for justice. Tevas left him and his mother... Tevas never thought he would make it. Naga will never forget that so he can train, get stronger and prove him wrong.

mostly I wanted to draw some teeth and I like drawing angry characters with that glazed over, wild look in their eye and I think that really matches the type of anger Naga feels. It's all consuming
