Time heals. It also forgives.

Following the death of their partners, Fern completely separated themself from their sister's life, terrified of losing her and scared that they were cursed. In an odd, selfish way, they were protecting her. But as seasons change and Fern's grief is no longer a fresh wound, they begin to see things more clearly and understand that isolation does not serve the mind - or heart - well.

So, with a better understanding of who they are after such a loss, they seek out Yuli again and request her company for an evening stroll along the cliffs. Fern is able to speak - albeit shakily - and explain what they'd done and why they'd done it. They say it was never meant to be personal and that they're done running now. They say they miss their sister and want to be a part of her life again... They also apologize and hope Yuliya forgives them.
