Just watched Howl's Moving Castle for the 2nd time. Boy, did it make me cry.I don't really like bishies, as I have said in my previous deviation descriptions, so Howl wasn't all that appealing to me. But since in the english-dub, he was voiced by Christian Bale.. I MELTED off my bed as I listened to his sexy voice. :9
One character that both intrigued and disgusted me was the Wicked Witch of the Waste. I loved the feeling you get when she first appears, and when you see how she ended up. I wanted to draw her in her young and beautiful form.. She would've been just lovely.
I can't wait to watch all the other Hayao Miyazaki films I've bought.

Yah, I wasn't very fond of Howl either! I was looking forward to the Witch of the waste's appearance toooo. [ I fell in love with Christan Bale's voice actingg!! O//u//O ]

Ahh~ I love how you drew her how she looked in the book!! I hated what they did to her in the movie... she was just randomly fat and gross... this is how she was supposed to look <3

Yeah, I do like how interesting his choices are... but I wished he wouldn't have changed it from the novel SO drastically... there were some things I was really looking forward to seeing that were omitted or changed completely for no apparant reason. I like how the Witch of the Waste's appearance matched her personality in the movie... but it really wasn't her character at all in the book...
Oh well... I love that movie, anyway ^^
