I've been literally DYING to do some TXT fanart since their latest comeback, so I decided to do a scene from the PUMA music video of Huening Kai trapped in a glass case. I thought this scene would be fun to color since it had heavy shadows and emphasis an on reds and blues. The gun lasers were a challenge as it took a lot of trial and error to get them to appear as bright ,correct in color and opacity as shown in the screenshot. For the background I painted minimally before blurring it out to hide detail and put more focus on the character.I'm not entirely satisfied as I wish I had added more lasers, extended the width of the canvas, more cracks(had difficulty finding images to overlay) and had the actual outfit from the scene. I could only really reference the outfit from another scene so I used that.
Overall I'm really happy with it, especially the clothing folds(I think I'm actually becoming decent now!) 😁😁
