A gift for my father. I made this for him for Christmas many years ago. My dad and I shared a love of Tom & Jerry when I was young and they are still sentimental favorites for us both.4.5" x 6" made with Canson Mi-Teintes papers

Me and my dad used to watch Tom and Jerry together as well. It's a little sad that most of my favorite episodes/moments were removed because of being 'Racist'.

Awesome work on this. Of all the cartoons that ever were and ever will be, Tom&Jerry are always up at the top of my list of favorites. And the way you made this masterpiece makes it feel nostalgic all while keeping it's raucous humor that it's so well known for. (Not sure if that makes any sense, but it did in my head.)

The story behind it makes this piece even better.
My dad and I always shared this cat and mouse duo as well.
He would have really enjoyed this artwork. Good artwork always stirs some emotion.

Thank you very much for the comment. This piece marked a turning point in my work. I learned a great deal from it and those lessons can be seen in pieces done after it.
I've been very surprised by how many people have commented that they watched Tom and Jerry with their parents too. I didn't think I was the only one, by any means, but it is fun to hear how many people have the same experience.
