A small tribute for the Zubat line of PokΓ©mon. Being some of my favourite flying types (along with Mandibuzz and couple of other things) and so much fun to draw (Golbat is probably my personal favourite of these, shape-wise).Not yet entirely sure how to bend the secondary wings of Crobat. I think its Pokedex entries say that the little wings are what used to be their legs as golbat, which would make sense having the first joint (the old knee) to point upwards instead of downwards like elbows, but their bodyparts keep moving around anyway so it wouldn't be that hard to imagine that they'd flip the joint around when evolving. They're sprouting extra digits and limbs anyway. Kept them knees in here.
This is also a good example of what my cleaned sketches look like. This one is unfortunately in my sketchbook and thus won't be for sale. I just wanted to draw some bat things last night.

Crobat likely flies by using the leg wings as rudders, so keeps them down while the primary wings flap/glide.

Yes, zubat line amazingness. Zubat is fluffy! And golbat is like 'I want your blood!' Then your Crobat is like'i eat souls like yours for breakfast'. I really like this picture. Sorry for the randomness, I'm just really tired.

Zubat Line <3 they are also my all time favorite pokemons, I was so excited when I caught one on my LeafGreen Nuzlocke (Tho im not surprised I did as they are pest pokemon but still I was worried I would just get 'lucky' with an uncommon clifairy FF)
Other then Zubat line I think Mudkip line is also up on my top favs, I will admit I had an entire box filled with baby mudkips at one point in my sapphire Like... seriously... Thats 30 mudkips omg

Yeah, sometimes Pokedex entries are weird when you think about them a little too much. Although I found a site with a lot of fan theories regarding a lot of Pokemon, and what's scary is that a lot of them make sense!

I love Zubat and its evolutions, too. I can't understand how everyone thinks they're annoying. They just flock towards you in caves because they want you to catch them. Inside those caves are often rock type pokemon so I can understand why they don't want to stay there

Not being a huge Pokemon expert, I wiki'd these guys to see what their official art makes them look like, and holy crap. Golbat and Crobat look kind of silly in the official art, but here you've made them look really badass.

Crobat doesn't actually appear to have feet

I love these. I usually dislike golbats because of the fact that they look like huge mouths with eyes and limbs, but they you've drawn it here makes it look awesome. And that crobat. . . I wish I had one, but my zubat died in my nuzlocke challenge ;^;

As much hate as these three get, and I kinda have to agree in the cases of wild encounters, I personally love training a zubat~ I caught one as a joke and named him Edward, but by the time he evolved into a crobat I was sold, and he's now my flyer in that team
