This is one of those moments when I reeeaally wish my computer's screen would show things in their real size.. Few days ago I wondered how would it look like if taur-shaped grocor like Myab danced. So, I started sketching, as usual. My first drawing that is done completely during my vacation. Yay! ^^ And the first real picture of Myab. I have drawn him once before, but.. Myab is a blue grocor. In his world people are divided roughly in two cathegories, the light people and the night people. Night folks usually means troll-related creatures that are most active at night time. Grocors belong to that group. They usually spend the daylight time in caves or other dark places and come out when the sun sets, yet it isn't too unusual to see one at daytime. They are strong creatures and in some places people pay them for their service, like in harbors (and people never forget to pay them, grocors are famous of their stubborness and once you let them down, they will remember it. Which means that you're in a big trouble).

They usually appear in blue, green, brown or gray, yet that's only classification of light people. For example Myab is blue grocor for day-people, but night folks would rather call him a blue-green one. All night people who are related to trolls (also grocors, yet they are very far related) have colored patterns on their skin and sometimes in hair also, but those patterns will show only in bright moonlight. So, it's obvious for night people, but day people usually don't have a clue about it. In this picture Myab is in normal lighting, so his patterns won't appear.

Oh, man! I like this picture. It was fun to draw, and I'm apsolutely proud of his nose. I have before tried to avoid drawing characters with human face, because of their lower part of their faces. Well, I still don't know how to draw lips well, but that nose is definetely a breakthrough for me.
