I should have done this looooooong ago. I was wondering how would my own wolf-face-marking look like on a realistic wolf, and not one of my usual style. So I dug up some photos and pictures of wolves that I had collected over the years and put them together in this piece. Not bad, isn't it? Though this was drawn cuite late night, before I went to bed I decided to work more on the Pearly (the blue ball on the background) next day, but then I forgot. But hey, the wolf is the main part of it, and it's not that bad. I learned so much from this.(In the original the blue parts are brighter, but my blue-blind scanner ignored them, as usual.)

VERY, VERY GOOD. Much better then I could do without A LOT of practice. I tried drawing this myself as practice, but it's not nearly as good as yours. I really need to practice drawing wolves for a big project/ picture I am working on. That and learning how to use the scanner...

oh, wow! This is really pretty. Love the fur and the eyes. Especially the eyes, because most people don't know how to put life/soul/intelligence into them, even if the rest of the drawing is lifelike...

I'm familiar with the saying and I think, at least where animals are concerned, it's true. I pay a lot of attention to eyes in my drawings- well, the ones that I spend time on, anyway(like the Riddick/hellhound piece)
