Alright. So here's a fun one! Upload 1 of 3 entries for 's contest to mega evolve their legendary giants. Each is based off Norse mythology, so I decided to do some research into each mythos before designing their megas, that way I'd have a bit more of an idea to work with as far as how I can change each of the designs. The results are what you see here.

So since I uploaded Mega Yukiga here, let's talk about what it is based off of. The Jotun, or ice giants, of Norse mythology. In doing some research I found out about the very first ice giant, the alpha if you will. Ymir. Ymir didn't have much backstory but what they did have was interesting. They were killed, and their blood spilled all over the earth. That blood was the ocean. So in my design I tried incorporating the oceanic theming into the mega. I took the fur that you find around Yukiga's upper body, and made it into what (hopefully) looks like a tidal wave, to symbolize the original's creating of the oceans. The inside of the tufts of fur is a dark blue, darker than it's skin color. I moved the ice down from it's chest to on it's arms, making them more fuzzy, and one on it's back.

I've gotta say, out of the three giants that KurokiKumo made, Yukiga is probably my favorite. ^^
