I really just wanted to start adding art onto this, and ive seriously been lacking motivation to finish any sketches lately, but whatever i got something done. ok halfway done i stopped early to doodle pigeons that im not posting here. Though i will post a different pigeon picture here. maybe.anyways this was from the tooth gap au im working on. little yakko from the first arc being carried away by his animator (who i ditched for pigeons) after failing an interview with the studio. Since he didnt pass he'll have to be scrapped, but of course his animators just coming out from an internship and let himself get attached and already broke a shit ton of rules by having yakko live with him for a couple of years before even letting the studio know of his existence.

Because white is so last year
No actually for his feet and face mask I tend to use shades of pink simply because it's easier to track and work with when I'm coloring and it's not as obnoxious when
Mostly I use it because white is so dull when it's used in so vastly large amounts
However I see where you're coming from, I probs either should've used a different shade of blue on the gloves which is where the high white contrast is coming from or a lighter shade of pink
