Description Well this is my first attempt at drawing and coloring a fakemon this way:

Tortoud sprite:
[link]

This tutorial helped me but then I didnt got it, obviously i didnt colored it like the tutorial because i just didnt knew how!
Any advice? look at the lineart is it good? i drew it then scanned, then printed then drew it again clean and scanned it, but when i used photoshop, then magic wand then delete the lines turned nasty! tried using sharpening tool but it was just horrible ! rather than black nice lines like in the tuorial... that brought me down and got confused witht he coloring layers and all that... so yeah.. plz comment if you can and give me advice in how to improve it or a better way to go through this process!

Also this is my new fakemon, which i thank for redrawing it and giving me a revamped, better design!

The Flying Turtle Pokemon
# ???
Name: Tortoud
Type: Flying/Normal
Ability: Run Away
Nature: Quiet
Dex Entry: Tortoud is a clumsy pokemon. Whenever they sense danger they fly high into the clouds and do not come down until a day later.
Evolution Pattern: Tortoud -> Lvl. 34 ??

Well overall i hope you like the design of the fakemon rather than the way colored it, i hope you get a nice idea of the pokemon, i will update the info as soon as possible!

Oh my gosh, this is so cute! I love the clouds work and I assume it is a turtle Pokemon based on the face/head. Do you mind if I give a go at spriting it? I realize you have already done so, I just want to try it out and I love turtle-like Pokemon so much *o*.

i dont know exactly how you went through with it, but with the lineart on paper, you'll need to keep the lines really clean and smooth. so maybe go over the pencil work with a marker, or trace i guess, and then erase the pencil.
sorry if what i said was pointless

well what program are you using for drawing?
i use paint tool sai an that has a lineart layer with lineart tools. i use that and just change the thickness for different parts of the body
but thank you for the complement

emm im drawing in paper with pencil, then scanned then printed then traced it clean with pencil again then i scanned again then cut the paper with the magic wand and delete ._. leaving the pencil line there O: im using photoshop lol i tried sai but it was wierd like i opened a lineart and it would change size and shape o.o
