Man, this took much longer than I originally planned. I sketched something similar to this back in July, used that as a base and changed it up after I saw episode 7, and went off to color it. 260+ layers later and here we are! This has probably been more than a month in production now and I'm just glad to be DONE. And it's the most detail I've ever put into a digital painting ever so I guess that explains why it took me ten million years to finish. I won't even lie though; I am ridiculously proud of this. My goal was to finish before the season ended so SUCCESS! Interior is loosely based off of the room in the Trancy house where they had their duel; I took a few liberties with it. I imagine the colors and details might be a teensy bit fucked up depending on what kind of computer monitor you have, since I worked on a laptop for this the whole time though. D;

Aaaaaand on the off chance you're interested in getting this as a print, I'm actually trying to do artist alley for the first time next summer, so I'm likely going to be selling this at AnimeNEXT in New Jersey. Actually though, the main reason I made this is because I seriously need to replace this giant Twilight poster I drew for a senior year assignment that's been hanging in my room for, like, forever so I figured, "Why not" and drew these two, bahaha. Despite all the ridiculous fanservice, I actually really enjoy the second season, plot-wise. Alois is hilarious. :')

Oh, quick question! I dunno if anyone is even reading this but would anyone out there be interested in seeing a little walkthrough "tutorial" kind of thing for this? I took some screenshots of the process for myself and I have the psd saved and was thinking of sharing them in case anyone wanted to see. Done!
