Dye their hair green
Wear neon colored makeup
And paint their nails a color akin to a highlighter
And still
Look
Great
I hate those beautiful girls
Who’s parents give them everything
Rich or poor
They get the clothes they want
The electronics they don’t need
Go to concerts they’ve already seen five times
And everyone
Thinks
It’s
The coolest
Thing
I hate those beautiful girls
With all the glory and the fame
Dancers with impossibly high kicks
Singers with extreme notes
Actresses that can be happy one moment and sad the next
They could even do terribly
And people
Would want
More

I feel like I feel the same way. My girlfriend has everyone chasing after her and wanting to date her, but she won't tell anyone she's dating me. It makes me feel bad cause I don't care if people know I'm dating another girl.

I agree with this but… hey! it's not OK to hate the beautiful girls. or anyone it's just hurtful for ourselfs and remember that we are all beautiful inside and we all are treasures phisically pretty or not.

Wow, I like this little poem. I've thought this so many times. I don't hate beautiful girls JUST cause they are beautiful. Often times, if they are kind or awesome, I tend to like them more. But those awful bitchy cruel little twisters of all that is good, who just happen to also be beautiful, make my blood go cold, and this sums it up perfectly!

I don't know...I like your style but I think you sound bitter. I'm not a "beautiful girl" but I'm happy with who I am. I know several of the gorgeous creatures you mention in your poem, and they've all got their own problems and insecurities.
A few things bothered me in particular, and I don't mean to offend you as a person. I just dissagree with the main theme of this poem and I will explain why.
As to things like "pulling off green hair", I find girls who pull it off do so because they have the right adventurous attitude rather than a certain natural complexion. I'm sure you'd rock these looks just as well if you had a bit more confidence.
Also, your point about "dancers with impossibly high kicks, singers with extreme notes" those are TALENTS. I live with a teeny tiny ballerina. Yes, she's thinner than me, she's got talent, but she's spent hours upon hours rehearsing. Talent isn't something rich parents can by, or where you can get by on looks. Everyone has different talents. Some people dance and sing, you write poetry.
Finally, your last stanza really, really irritated me. "It's all their fault that no one sees the beauty in me?" Really, honey, I think it's that you don't see the beauty in you.
To you and everyone else who identifies with this poem: I can guarentee you there are tons of people who are enchanted by you, and you're just to down on yourself to see it. Stop being bitter and blaming others for how you feel, embrace yourself for who you are.

I could defiantly relate to this. Everyone see's those seemingly flawless girls and compare to themselves and there own lives.
Everyone is beautiful in there own way. Everyone is different, the way it should be. There is always going to be someone prettier than you, uglier than you, but no one more beautiful than you

Loved it, sometimes it feels like you can never be as good-looking and beautiful as they are, even if you have make-up, fixed your hair and so on and have really tried your hardest! But still I find that beauty comes from the inside, and that some people get their beatuy from their inner glow. One of my friend is really beautiful beacuse she really does 'shine' beacuse she is so happy when she is around her friends and she would do everything for those she loves.

I really wrote this for people who have so much inner beauty, but because of the public image for people it gets ignored. I hope that one day that image will be changed and people like your friend will be looked up to instaed of the thinnest girls or the people with most money or etc.
