(This was a crazy idea that popped into my head while drinking a lot of schnapps... I make no apologies)

Lynn found the package on her doorstep - it was addressed to her, but there was no return address. She didn’t remember ordering anything, but it definitely had her name and address on it. She brought it into the house and left it on the table as she got out of her work clothes and poured a glass of wine. Finally curious, she carefully opened the large box...

To Lynn’s shock, inside the box was a computer. There was no branding, but there was a computer, mouse, keyboard, and a nice looking monitor. Lynn was suddenly very excited and started setting the system up. She had no idea who would send her a computer, but she wasn’t going to complain.

The operating system wasn’t the typical Windows or Linux - again, it was unbranded - but it was easy enough to navigate and configure. It had all the standard applications- browser, word processing software, spreadsheets - but what caught Lynn’s eye was what looked like a very elaborate photo editing suite. She started to explore it and immediately realized it was something special. She explored it in depth using the included sample pictures, and she was amazed at how smoothly it edited. How clean and crisp the lines were. She bit her lip and loaded another image. A special image. A picture of her, taken by a former lover. A lover who never understood her needs... her secret desires.

She chose her brushes carefully, her hand steady on the mouse, making precise, fluid movements. She felt a thrill and a certain warmth as her legs disappeared, the woman on the screen becoming a bilateral amputee with round stumps at the exact length Lynn had always imagined for herself. She felt her cheeks flushed. She clicked ‘Process’.

Lynn didn’t know what to expect, or maybe she did? She sat there, hands shaking as they traced the smooth round stumps that ended just below her hips. Her deepest secret dreams somehow made real. She looked at the screen, at the image smiling back at her...
