PF Flying Duck

Ducky was the new horse at the farm. A gorgeous few spot Knabstrup we aquired though *LittleCreekStables . She was a kind horse, usually willing to work, but on that Sunday evening, everything was going...wrong....

Elizabeth brought the mare outta the barn, looking her over. She looked nice, good build, alert. She led her down to the lower pasture and turned the mare lose. As she turned to walk away she head the clanging of plastic. She turned around quickly to see Ducky had dashed though the white plastic rails of the paddock. The poles had not broken but had become unclicked when the tall and gorgeous Ducky tried jumping them, but instead of jumping, she quickly realised what she was doing and stoped, hitting the poles with a hard force. She sat on the ground, and as Elizabeth ran toward her she got up slowly, shook it off, and walked away...with a limp in her step...

Quick easy story. Ducky will be recovering, her muscles are a bit touched by it, not a major injury but good enough to keep her outta competing this year. So we plan to breed her to DT Haphazard, a stallion owned by *handstands-for-you . She should be able to handle the weight of a foal once shes farther along in the pregancy.
