Description
The Avarid Originator is a lesser-known subspecies of Avarid, but plays a pivotal role in the survival and repopulation of the parasitic aliens. Despite an extremely long, muscled body and a mouth lined with sharp, jagged teeth, these parasites display far less aggression than their smaller, more bloodthirsty relatives. Still, infested victims exhibit exceptionally vicious behavior when provoked, but are generally passive. They are much more reserved, only interested in finding a host that will suit their reproductive needs. Most women infested by the huge worm-like creatures end up with distended bellies of varying size, ranging from nearly undetectable bloats to expanded, pregnant-looking ones. However, bloated stomach does not stop them from being excellent, brutal fighters. Occupying the womb by entering via the birth canal, Avarid Originator's are the sole reproducers for the more dominant, world-conquering Avarid species. After infesting a host, they will release a liquid hormone that will induce extreme sensitivity in the stretched out belly in which they reside, along with drastically affecting the hosts own hormones, generally resulting in frequent/easily arousing sensations and behavior. The hormone will eventually attract an Avarid, which will enter the possessed body, reproduce with the parasite and leave, the Avarid Originator safely harboring their young in the hosts body until they mature enough to seek out their own victims to infest. The Avarid Originator possess a host immediately after entering their body, using them as a temporary vessel to safely reproduce before moving on to the next one, living a very nomadic, risky lifestyle. Other Avarid Originator’s will search for a body they enjoy enough to possess permanently (could be identified by dark veins on the back,neck and ribs of the host), forever instinctively reproducing for any Avarid's that may come across them.
