Every once in a while, Hope would randomly just start vlogging cause why not. She was bored at home with her son at school and she didn’t want to play video games all day and instead wanted to do something different so she went to Best Buy and got whichever camera seemed the fanciest after seeing some vlogs in her YouTube recommended page, even though she barely watch vlogs. Her vlogs were nothing out of ordinary as it was just her doing normal stuff like cleaning the house and doing errands, although as a pregnant woman, which certainly didn’t make things easier for her. At one point while showing her outfit for the vlog, she looked at her belly in the mirror, which made her stop for a moment. By this point, it had been a couple of years and she was already used to living with her belly, but seeing how big her belly truly was made her realize how impressive it was for her to carry such a large mass after all these years. Admittedly, this made her feel kinda proud of herself as she was carrying life in her womb, even if it was not human. But that brief sense of pride was then quickly replaced with back pain, heartburn, cravings, and pressure on her bladder and it was back to her love and hate relationship with the parasite. Once she got all the footage for the day, she started editing, which took a while as she had no idea how to edit as during group projects in school, other people would do the editing. After finishing editing, she would then upload the video onto YouTube, with each of her videos usually getting a couple thousand views, which was already satisfactory for her as she was just doing this for fun and wasn’t aiming for millions of views. She also found the comments to be satisfying as she liked reading the comments, most of which were complementing her, although there were some weird comments but she didn’t really mind or care about them. Maybe the lack of attention from others as a kid was why she found the views and comments on YouTube satisfying, but it definitely made her feel less isolated as she shared some parts of her life to the Internet.
