Heh, conehead.
And also, I'd kind of like to see one using Minecraft. You know, just like the grass block's pony counterpart or somethin'.

I view VLC as a boy. Maybe somepony with a personality slightly similar to Vinyl Scratch. That being said, I'd say his name would be "Lan," in reference to "videoLAN" the organization that made VLC.
I'd think Lan would be at constant odds with Itune's avatar; her being the total perfectionist, and him being the lad back, carefree DJ that ALWAYS aggravates Itunes with how he operates his media files.XD

How about Villacia? A very fancy sounding name that is part of a web address found within the VLC program. The address is found under Help>About>Version.

Icons on Linux: a PNG with alphachannel, square, up to 256x256. The desktop manager will then scale it appropriately for use.
Also, why the heck are all the windows icons so small; to my knowledge since Windows Vista we can have 64x64 icons or even larger?
But besides technical nonsense, I love these icons. I really do.

They shouuuuld scale smoothly up to 512x512 on Windows. Perhaps I uploaded an outdated file..? :derp:

There is a program to manage the icons of the file types on Linux at least on Ubuntu, is called "assogiate"
Install using Synaptic or from command line:
$ sudo apt-get install assogiate
Then launch from command line:
$ assogiate
The program has its own GUI (graphic user interface), you'd have to change one by one
Icons for use in Ubuntu could be: Images in *.png format resolutions may be 32x32 64x64 256x256 or in *.svg (vectors) format
There are also the possibility to install from a *.deb package (better since it install as a "theme", but I don't know where you can find something like that yet)

Since I have to use VLC to watch most episodes on my computer, this will be perfect!!
But... um, one question. How do I change icons on a mac?
Assistance would be very helpful.
