well, if i got in a row boat those reflections would have gone...but I know what you mean about the shed. I guess nature and civilisation dont always oblige the photographer. There were worse things in the photo if I changed position

..come to think of it- that probably provides the small sense of balance as it is a very rright weighted picture in terms of the composition

thanks- was never too sure in what category to place these harbour shots- so they have ended up in rural scenes...I did also crop this shot a little on the left as the composition was heavily weighted on the right...

i still think it is weighted to the right, but thats balanced well with the clear shot of the hill. categorising is probably one of the hardest parts of submitting isnt it!? but rural scenes is probably the right one

yes it is..I was reluctant to cut too much off the left as I rather likes the hills and the still sea but as you say- that balances it a little
