Awesome... How much I would like to spend some time on a beach like that... No time for rest - only studies, work, studies work... Maybe in October I will go somewhere...

The only part of the Irish coast I've seen is from the train ride from Dublin to Belfast and I fell asleep 20 minutes after leaving the station

I've been through the chunnel only once and fell asleep before the train had even got past the London suburbs and I woke up again in France. I missed the chunnel entirely. I love train rides but tend to fall asleep very easily. The exception was a ride down the Thai coast from Bangkok - 18 hours of a wooden seat, sweat, soot and an old lady with a chicken sleeping on my feet.

...I also tend to fall asleep on trains. The most uncomfortable journey I had was on a train from Beijing to Xian (18 hours also) but not on a wooden seat- with my friend and a local chinese man who showed his disdain very clearly by trying to get his berth changed to no avail. Eventually he decided that we were not so bad and he offered us some of his dinner which he cooked on a little stove in the cabin. We accepted some fruit that he had and offered him some in return and it was all good after that. I remember he was carrying a beautiful gloxinia in a pot and lovingly took it out, put it on the table at the window so it could get some light. I had pneumonia unknowingly at the time.

Great story That's what I like about travelling, especially when still attached to terra firma, because things like that often happen.
