Well he was just sleepy, but I HAVE gotten that from him... he is a rather bipolar cat

How did you manage to make such a proper photo? Since recently we have an own little cat, and I am not able to make a proper shot, especially not within this near.
And the frames add perfectly to this sho, good work!

Thank you very much. I think I mentioned that he was sleepy, that makes it easier to get close. The real trick is in the lens you use. The wider the angle for the lense, the closer the detail you can capture. Most people just have a 35 mm lens, and that doesn't get as close.

I see, so you are not only a hobby-photographer. I am, I only got a simple 35mm lens. Well the cam is quite nice, but not so good for very close pics. It has a very good depth of field, background and foreground are almost always sharp - tho I see this as disadvantage... Pics with sharp foreground and blurred background look good in my eyes.

If it is manual, I can talk you through how to blur the background. XD I am sort of a hobby photographer woking on becoming more. I have some professional quality stuff... but I am still learning the trade in all honesty. I would think myself good if not for the amazing photographers I see regularly on dA that just blow my mind. O.O

Yes, they do so too to me... Well my cam is fully automatic, there is no way to set it manually, only an option of to use close shot or not, but the focus still mostly takes everything sharp... Well the came does make nice shots, but only in meaning of light and color, everything else isn't so genious.

I see. Well I guess you'll just have to put up with what you get. I avoid fully automatics for that very reason. ^^

Well I am not that professional that I work without automatic stuff, I rather want everything automatic. Cause I mostly use the cam to take quick shots of the every day's life, so there is no time for long settings. But still many of those quick shots are very good, thanks to the good picture quality of them cam, tho it has low resolution and such a few things >_>
