This is very cute. I agree making the kittens white to stand out more in the dark pic.
Would the color black be 'I don't want to go back to school' or 'summer's over and now it's time to go back to school' type of thing? XP

No, it is just the last color in the spectrum. you'll see that all the kitten pictures are sort of color themed... with a single color. It started with white, then went to blue then green... and so on to indigo, and then it lends with black. Next, I will be doing three pictures that are dual colored with the opposites... that means, red and green, blue and orange, and yellow and purple. That is part of the project. But you can see it that way.
