Description
I'm fascinated with the despair, hopelessness and nonsensicalness of the human condition. I intentionally kept the photo bright and symmetrical, with lots of empty space, incongruously placing the subject near the center. The setting is iconic of our US society.Related content

There are so many great elements to this -- the gargage on the table, the trio of paintings on the wall, the bag on the chair all juxtaposed against the person in despair. It brings out the detective in the viewer -- what is going on here and what do all the clues mean?
