History

Esteban has been a grim reaper of sorts for a long time. A very long time... Catrinas y calaveras are supposed to lighten the fear of death; after all, death is just the next greatest adventure. So he was gifted his guitar. With a melody that brings the attention of ghosts, he warmly guides them to cemeteries where portals to the afterlife open up filled with laughter and joy and music. That's how it's always been. Bringing peace and hope to those fearful souls that are too scared to move on. Enjoying and remembering those that have passed. Loving them. Cherishing them.

That is until he notice a large incline in broken hearted souls that could not bear their grief. Tears in their eyes and sobbing at the back of each cheerful line, he listened to their woes. An entire life without finding love. It wouldn't have stirred much of a response in himself... if not for the fact that it multiplied. And multiplied. People sobbing over years without a chance, dying young and without a single love.

His chest aches.

Someone isn't doing their goddamn job... And it takes him a while to figure out who exactly. Cupid. Lazy. Useless. Cupid. He set himself with a task to drag the man back to his job, falling in line with everything that's to be expected at Grimm University -- even going as far as to enlist in classes himself. Might as well go with what he knows.

Last Song - When playing his instrument with the intent to becon the dead, the melody is rhythmic and stirring. Overwhelming joy and happiness spreads to those within ear shot of his song. Take the time to remember those you've loved that have passed and appreciate all the joy they gave you. Ghost will follow him as he plays this song.

Magnify & Enhance - As a Calvera; he has gemstones for eyes. This allows his kalediscopic vision to zoom in and out on particular featues. Perhaps a nauseating way to see the world; he appreciates the ability to see every action 10 fold.
